HISTORY OF THE CREATIVE ARTS CONSORTIUM

Historically, people with mental illness have been isolated. They were looked on with suspicion and left to the care of professionals. We are no longer able or willing to justify this approach. People with mental illness are talented, resourceful and sensitive.

As we complete our 10th year, CAC has an incredible list of accomplishments to its credit, and can boast of many individual success stories among its members. The quality of work produced by members is outstanding, inspiring and insightful.
